“Almost” by Chiereme Fortune

“Almost Christians look right, but live wrong – can’t stand the conviction of Romans so they sit down to be comforted in Psalms…”

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to meet Ezekiel Azonwu, husband, rapper, and poet at a local slam poetry competition. First being introduced to him by his P4CM debut piece, “Almost,” I was excited to witness the fruition of four years of dream-grinding.

I was not disappointed.

Not only was it a testament to see someone so focused on their purpose, but it was a reminder that ‘almost’ being sold-out for Christ will only get you ‘almost’ where you are supposed to be in your relationship with God, others and your dreams. What’s keeping you from  becoming the man or woman God created you to be?
